The app also allows you to crop documents, such as when there’s too much whitespace on the margins. You can have this automatically done, or you can manually crop the documents—either for the entire set of sheets, or the entire file.

With modern scanning resolutions always getting better and more crisp, file sizes naturally also tend to increase. Without optimization of the file size, they might end up being too large to send over email or other common file transfer methods. You have control over the degree of file compression—for text only documents, even long ones, very small file sizes can be achieved. For documents with a lot of images, you can play with the settings to find the best compromise between image quality and file size.
